J.E. Shekell, Inc. installed a 30-ton Carrier chiller, Bell & Gossett pump and associated PVC piping. The chiller will provide process cooling for hydraulic oil coolers and transformers. Utilizing this system instead of an open cooling tower will reduce the dirt and scale that can form in the process heat exchangers, thus reducing maintenance and production down time.
